Bio

House of Today is a Beirut-based non-profit platform dedicated to contemporary Lebanese collectible design. Founded in 2012 by Cherine Magrabi Tayeb, it supports the development and international visibility of Lebanese designers through commissions, collaborations, exhibitions, educational initiatives, and curated collections.

At PAD Saint-Tropez 2026, House of Today presents The Hand and the Tide, a solo exhibition by Tamar Hadechian. Bringing together more than fifty ceramic works, the exhibition explores the relationship between human gesture and natural forces through a language shaped by the Mediterranean landscape. Marked by traces of touch, erosion, and time, the works reflect on clay as a vessel for memory and transformation.

Curated by Cherine Magrabi Tayeb and scenographed by Simon Basquin, the exhibition unfolds as a dialogue between maker and landscape, where the hand and the tide become equivalent forces of creation and change, introducing Hadechian’s practice to an international audience through one of the leading platforms for collectible design.
