Bio
With its presence in Paris and Budapest, Initio Arts & Design specializes in Eastern European art and collectible design.
Founded by Marie Tourre de Robien and Balint Ferenczy, after several years of experience in the London art world, the gallery opened its permanent space in 2022 at the marché Serpette in Saint-Ouen.
In 2024, Initio Arts & Design published the first reference book dedicated to vintage Eastern European lighting (Eastern Lights), a field that was largely unknown and that had never been comprehensively documented before.
Initio Arts & Design represents artists and designers such as sculptor Sándor Kecskeméti, ceramicist Rebeka Rácz, and works around the oeuvres of Kim Moltzer, Gergei Erdei, Jiri Krejcirik and Jindrich Halabala.
