For its PAD London debut, Paris-based Galerie Boketto presents Through and Through: A study of density through transparency, reflection, and non-repetition. The presentation gathers an international lineup of designers — legacy, established, and rising — who carry the grain of the future of objectmaking. With a singular approach to sculpting taste and driving vision forward, each of these talents takes up the question of density, which sits at the centre of the gallery’s proposition.
Xawery Wolski (Warsaw/Mexico City) anchors it with Globos, 100 hand-formed spheres suspended mid-air, his work held by the Fonds National d’Art Contemporain, the Bibliothèque Nationale de France, the Moderna Museet, and the Museo Reina Sofía. Moulay Hafid Sdikiene (Paris) debuts his first solo collection, Halocline, in reclaimed aluminium and onyx. Natalia Landowska (New York) presents new hand-built clay works built through her signature layered technique. Aleksandra Zawistowska (Warsaw) creates an exclusive glass series where density is read through transparency rather than mass.
William Guillon (Bordeaux) departs from his signature darkness with What Remains of Us, cast from 111 salvaged moulds, whose work spanned Lourdes and Toulouse’s historic monuments. Jan Garncarek (Warsaw), creator of the Metropolis lamp, contributes a commissioned work. The booth closes with a curated selection of vintage objects, honouring the gallery’s roots.
