Achille Salvagni leads his eponymous, multidisciplinary and award-winning architecture and design firm with offices in Rome, London and New York. The company specializes in creating sophisticated residential and yacht interiors, limited edition furniture and lighting and is renowned for its excellence in design.
Though an avowed modernist, Salvagni’s work consistently bears the weight of history in his material richness, impeccable craftsmanship, and deeply layered narrative, resulting in work that is both philosophical and romantic.
Growing up in Rome, he was greatly influenced by its history and design heritage – the materials, patina, architectural legacy, and especially the 1920’s and 1930’s, which he views as a period when Italian designers were looking at the future while taking stock of the past. This philosophy can be seen in every Salvagni’s designs.
