Bio

Julia Muñoz is a Spanish jeweler based in Paris. She began her career as an antiquarian in 2004, opening her first gallery at the Marché Serpette in Paris and later expanding to a second space at Carré Rive Gauche on rue de Lille, specializing in 20th-century decorative arts, particularly pieces from the 1950s to the 1970s.

In 2019, Julia embarked on a new chapter in her artistic journey by beginning to create jewelry. Each piece is hand-sculpted using the lost-wax technique, cast in bronze by artisans in Madrid, and gilded in 24-carat gold at a workshop in Paris. As no molds are used, every creation is entirely unique.

Drawing on her background as an antiquarian, Julia chose to revive this ancient artistic technique—used by European sculptors in the 1970s and rooted in methods dating back to the 5th century BC—bringing a more artistic and sculptural vision to the world of jewelry.
