The Parisian Galerie JAG, founded 14 years ago by Jessica Berguig, will be exhibiting at PAD for the first time.
As a gallerist, collector and interior designer, Jessica Berguig’s work is at the crossroads of several skills. Her passion for decorative arts and design inspires her to discover new talents. Intuitive collector, her frenetic search for remarkable or touching objects leads her to unique discoveries and creative collaborations.
Pieces by Carlo Scarpa, Paolo Buffa and Jane & Gordon Martz are all on display in her gallery. Jessica also likes to reveal contemporary artists such as Jean-Guillaume Mathiaut, Floris Wubben and Olivia Cognet. With her sharp eye and distinctive taste, she has worked with the artist Re?mi Bracquemond and the prestigious embroidery house Lesage Inte?rieurs.
Her sensibility guides her to modern, expressive pieces with textured, natural and organic patterns. The power of form, material and movement are essential to the gallery owner.
At the same time, Jessica Berguig creates interiors in which she fully expresses her talent as an alchemist. Whether it’s the layout, the choice of materials or the works selected, sobriety, precision and attentiveness are always the keywords.
