RINCK x THE GUILD OF SAINT LUKE
A budding friendship between Rinck’s president and artistic director, Valentin Goux, and John Whelan, founder of the design studio The Guild of Saint Luke, gave birth to an exceptional collaboration that will be unveiled at PAD London in October 2025. Their shared passion for archives and the Decorative Arts was the starting point.
ABOUT RINCK
Ensemblier décorateur since 1841, Rinck creates exceptional interiors and collectible pieces, meticulously crafted in-house at its own millwork, joinery, and furniture workshops in France. The studio’s creations are presented in its Parisian gallery in Saint-Germain-des-Prés and in its showroom at the New York Design Center.
ABOUT THE GUILD OF SAINT LUKE
THE GUILD OF SAINT LUKE (GSL) is a design studio and gallery committed to the idea of ‘Remastering The Past’. Now operating in 8 countries across a variety of disciplines from commercial to residential, career highlights include the restoration of a number of historic French brasseries, a collaboration with Orsoni Venezia 1888 and an installation with German lighting brand KAIA at Salone del Mobile in 2024. Founded by John Whelan in 2017, the studio’s creative direction has now been passed to a new partner, Jordan Chew, who has worked with John for many years. GSL’s work is currently the subject of a retrospective monograph to be published by Rizzoli, a key milestone in passing the creative baton for the next decade.
