Bio

Gallery LVS opened in 2008 with the intention of firmly grounding itself in Korea’s cultural context. Through various curated exhibitions and projects, the gallery showcases a wide range of genres in both traditional and contemporary art, spanning from painting to media art. Judy Lee, the CEO and representative of Gallery LVS, planned and promoted the Korean contemporary porcelain project ‘White in White’, and spearheaded the establishment of the Yanggu Porcelain Museum. For over a decade, the gallery has participated in COLLECT London, promoting Korean porcelain, and has also taken part in international fairs such as SOFA Chicago and KOGEI Kanazawa, actively promoting Korean crafts. Additionally, Gallery LVS has collaborated with numerous international art institutions such as Singapore Art Season Gallery, Hankyu Department Store Osaka, JFCHEN LA, and Tristan Hoare London to organize exhibitions featuring Korean artists.

In the field of painting, the gallery has been responsible for managing the overseas section of the ASYAAF Art Fair, inviting and hosting young Asian artists from around the world for 14 years. In the realm of crafts, the gallery has been promoting artists like Ernst Gamperl, Jennifer Lee, Bodel Manz, and Jang Yeon-soon, who are recipients of the LOEWE Craft Prize. Collaborations with the LOEWE Foundation have led to joint exhibitions held in Seoul, and the gallery has undertaken various domestic and international promotional activities.
