Bio
Boketto is a Paris-based gallery that approaches design as a continuation of human experience. For PAD 2026, we present A Philosophy of Making: a curated selection of works that transcend space and time. From Brazilian post-war works by José Zanine Caldas, to the monumental textile force of Magdalena Abakanowicz, to the sculptural precision of Zaha Hadid’s Moon Sofa, the presentation examines the hand as a thinking organ and making as cognition.
Alongside these historical anchors, we introduce contemporary voices who build the future of design. Moulay Hafid Sdikiene, with an exclusive collection of furniture, Natalia Landowska, whose lighting constellations are shaped by clay and fire, and Igor Dobrowolski, whose sculptures first and foremost sculpt the space around them.
Across generations, these works share a common logic: they are not decorative objects, but carriers of human trace, formed through constraint, resistance, and touch.
