Bio
In 1991, Pierre Passebon opened the Galerie du Passage in one of Paris’s most attractive covered passageways, Galerie Véro-Dodat. Spread over two floors, the gallery offers a rich selection of furniture and pieces of art from the 19th century to the present day, reflecting the diversity of the decorative arts.
Temporary exhibitions, supported by publications, punctuate the displays, honouring leading artists and the great tradition of arts and crafts.

LOUIS CANE : Furniture Collection.
Louis Cane develops a body of work at the crossroads of painting, sculpture and decorative arts, in a free dialogue with the French spirit of the 18th century. He conceives furniture and objects as sensitive presences, where light, materials and proportions become language. Bronze, gilding, lacquer, marquetry and precious woods compose an art based on grace, elegance and lightness. Going against the grain of dogma, Louis Cane champions an art of pleasure and freedom, where objects once again become vehicles for poetry.
