Galerie Meubles et Lumières will present two exceptional ensembles at PAD London 2025, highlighting the richness of French design from the 1970s. The first is a unique, custom-made sofa created in 1972 by Maurice Marty for a Parisian apartment — a rare piece that reflects the bold creativity and refined craftsmanship of its designer. The second is a staged setting: a reinterpretation of a businessman’s office composed of rare works by Xavier Féal, all designed in the 1970s. This ensemble includes a bespoke sofa from 1971, lounge chairs, a bookcase, and a prestigious “Président” desk, accompanied by a selection of iconic lighting from the period. Through these two remarkable ensembles, the gallery celebrates the elegance and inventiveness of French furniture from the 1960s and 1970s.
