A famous model that Picasso studied for several months, subjecting each line to the rigorous laws of geometry, dissociating the forms, varying the colors, a process similar to that which presided over the invention of Cubism. Picasso concentrated part of his work on the variation of the Infanta, of which he made the central character. A particular series in which Picasso pays tribute to his master symbolizing Spain and its artistic greatness of the Golden Age.

8 rue Sainte-Anastase, 75003 Paris
From Tuesday to Saturday: 2pm – 7pm

Instagram @galeriejfcazeau

The Galerie Jean-François Cazeau presents the work of the Spanish master signed “Picasso” and dedicated to his friend, the journalist Georges Tabaraud. At the end of the fifties, Picasso produced a series of paintings of various formats referring to the famous painted work, the Meninas (1656) by Diego Velásquez presented at the Prado Museum in […]

[217

post-22970","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-announcements
["GET
