The Portuondo Gallery, established in Paris in 2004, specializes in decorative art from the second half of the 20th century, with a focus on pieces from the 1950s and 1970s. It is led by the Spanish couple Horacio Portuondo and Julia Mu\u00f1oz. Horacio comes from a long line of antique dealers and Julia excels as a jewelry designer.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The gallery’s selection primarily features French designers from the post-war modern era, such as Joseph Andr\u00e9 Motte, Roger Landault and Jean-Claude Farhi. It also includes works from other European artists such as the Italian artist Gabriella Crespi and the Greek sculptor Panay\u00f3tis Vassil\u00e1kis (Takis). <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In addition, the gallery showcases contemporary designers in harmony with its main aesthetic, such as Clotilde Ancarani with her solid bronze pieces, Jean-Frederic Bourdier with marble creations, and the jewelry designer Julia Mu\u00f1oz, who specializes in gilded bronze.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
